Healing Oakland starts here

HOPE is an Oakland-based collective of ordinary people impacted by incarceration who are building the power necessary to decarcerate Santa Rita Jail, expand life-affirming resources in Alameda County, and cultivate holistic community safety beyond the prison-industrial-complex. 

We are fighting for long-term supportive housing and healthcare while advocating to get our incarcerated loved-ones free, healthy, and whole. Guided by healing justice, we empower our communities to care for each other through mutual aid and peer support.
