A People-Centered Economy in Oakland

The REAL People’s Organizing Collective (RPOC) is building a movement of working class, Black and Brown small businesses, entrepreneurs, co-ops and artists who want to change the way our economy works in Oakland. We are not wealthy landlords or giant corporations. We are restaurants, grocery co-ops, creatives and cultural workers organizing to build power so we can shape a people-centered economy grounded in care not extraction.
