On Wednesday, March 25th, from 3–6 PM, we’re canvassing as the REAL People’s Organizing Collective, and we’re going where real community power lives, with our local storefronts and small businesses. 

Join us as we talk to small businesses, build relationships, and share our demands for a people-centered economy. And because organizing is about joy too, we’ll gather for a 5PM happy hour (on us!). Meeting point and Happy Hour location shared soon

• What are we talking to small businesses about? We’re introducing our organizing collective, the Oakland Arms Embargo campaign, and most importantly listening to small businesses because they are the backbone of our neighborhoods and building real power starts with building 1-on-1 relationships. Talking points provided 
• Can I bring a friend? Absolutely! Bring three friends! All are welcome at our canvasses and no experience is required.
• Will there be training? Yes! All of our canvasses will begin with a grounding and training, and if you are new you will be partnered with another canvasser. No experience required!
